Paul Pledge

Paul is the ​hands on Managing Director of Jigsaw Staffing. Originally from the UK Paul has 20 years experience in the recruitment industry, In the UK Paul had roles such as a specialist Engineering & Technical recruiter and also as Branch Manager for a large national recruitment business that supplied staff into the Food, Manufacturing, FMCG and Warehouse/Logistics sectors.

In 2011 Paul emigrated to Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty and joined Tradestaff. In his 13 years with Tradestaff Paul has had a number of roles, Manager of Tradestaffs busy Tauranga office, working in Auckland as an Area Manager and eventually climbing the ladder to become General Manager of Tradestaff Global.

Paul was the driving force in the start of Tradestaff Global back in 2012. Part of the Tradestaff Group, Tradestaff Global is a recruitment business that sends expat kiwi staff to remote projects around the world.

Under Paul's leadership Tradestaff Global placed thousands of Kiwi expat workers into 18 different countries.

Some interesting projects that Paul was involved in include;-

• The Construction of McMurdo base in Antarctica. Part of the US Antarctic Program's Antarctic Infrastructure Modernization for Science initiative.

• Mining Projects in Australia and the Pacific

• Solar Power Projects in Fiji, the outlying islands of Tuvalu and Kiribati

• Oil & Gas projects in Papua New Guinea

• Construction and Infrastructure projects in too many countries to name

• Engineering and Energy projects across the Pacific

• Facilities Management & Maintenance projects

Due to the remoteness of these projects Paul understands the importance of making the correct hire the first time.

Paul is known for raising the bar and providing his Clients with straight forward, no nonsense advice when it comes to fulfilling their need for quality, reliable staff.

Paul stepped down as General Manager of Tradestaff Global in 2024 to start Jigsaw Staffing in partnership with Tradestaff.
